Recent price revisions by domestic polymer producers in India

Haldia Petrochemicals (HPL) has announced rolled-over prices for PP grades, while HDPE grades prices have been reduced by Rs. 1-2 per Kg and LLDPE prices are down by Rs. 3-5 per Kg. Reliance Industries (RIL) has rolled-over prices for PP grades with effect from May 11, 2023. Reliance Industries (RIL) has also announced PE prices, with HDPE Raffia/Injection Moulding grade prices being reduced by by Rs.2/kg basic, HDPE BM grade prices being downed by Rs.1.50/kg basic, and HDPE Film/Pipe grade prices being reduced by Re.1/kg basic. LDPE Extrusion grade prices being reduced by Rs.2/kg basic, while all other LDPE grade prices have being reduced by Rs.3/kg basic. LLDPE Extrusion grade prices have been reduced by Rs.5/kg basic, while all other LLDPE grade prices have being reduced  by Rs.3/kg basic. Price protection has been announced from May 11th to June 1st, 2023, or the next price change, whichever is earlier. MRPL has rolled-over PP prices with effect from May 11, 2023. IOCL has announced PP and PE prices with effect from May 11, 2023. PP grade prices have been left unchanged. HDPE Yarn/Raffia & Injection Moulding grade prices have being reduced by Rs.2/kg basic, and HDPE BM grade prices have been reduced by Rs.1.50/kg basic, while HDPE Film/Pipe grade prices have been reduced by Re.1/kg basic. LLDPE Extrusion Coating grade prices have been reduced by Rs.5/kg basic, while all other LLDPE grade prices have being reduced by Rs.3/kg basic. Price protection has been announced in PE with effect from May 11th to June 1st, 2023 (6:00 A.M.) or the next price change, whichever is earlier. Price protection excludes deemed export, contractual, and export sales. GAIL has announced PE prices with effect from May 11, 2023. HDPE Raffia/Injection Moulding grade prices have being reduced by approximately Rs.2/kg basic, and HDPE BM grade prices have been reduced by approximately Rs.1.50/kg basic, while HDPE Film/Pipe grade prices have being reduced by approximately Re.1/kg basic. LLDPE Extrusion grade prices have been reduced by approximately Rs.5/kg basic, while all other LLDPE grade prices have been revised down by approximately Rs.3/kg basic. OPaL has announced PP and PE prices with effect from May 11, 2023. PP grade prices have been left unchanged. HDPE Raffia/Injection Moulding grade prices have being reduced by Rs.2/kg basic, and HDPE BM grade prices have been reduced by Rs.1.50/kg basic, while HDPE Film/Pipe grade prices have been reduced by Re.1/kg basic. LLDPE Extrusion grade prices have been reduced by Rs.5/kg basic, while all other LLDPE grade prices have been reduced by Rs.3/kg basic. Price protection has been announced in HDPE and LLDPE with effect from May 11th to May 31st, 2023, or the next price change, whichever is earlier. Reliance Industries has decreased PET prices by Rs. 4000 per MT, effective from May 9th, 2023. Supreme Petrotech has also reduced GPPS prices by Rs. 2000 per MT and HIPS prices by Rs. 4000 per MT, effective from May 6th, 2023. HMEL has reduced PP prices by Rs. 1500 per MT, effective from May 08, 2023. Additionally, customers shall be issued credit notes for this amount on their offtake from May 1st to May 7th, 2023.
