Energy and currency indicators for 28 November 2025 reflected a mix of declines and strong upward movements across key benchmarks. Crude oil closed at 62.38, lower than last week’s 62.56, marking a 0.29% weekly drop. On a monthly basis, crude is down 2.27% from 63.83, and the quarterly decline deepens to 9.09% from 68.62. Year-on-year, crude has fallen sharply by 14.87% from 73.28. The yearly low stands at 58.95, hit on 04 May 2025, while the yearly high of 82.03 was recorded on 15 January 2025, indicating a 23.95% fall from the peak. The USD/INR exchange rate closed at 89.35, slightly below last week’s 89.64, showing a 0.32% weekly increase. However, the monthly figure at 88.22 reflects a 1.28% rise, while the quarterly rate at 87.59 signals a 2.01% increase. Year-on-year, the pair shows a 5.81% gain from 84.44. The yearly high of 84.29 was seen on 05 May 2025, registering a 6.00% change, while the yearly low of 89.64 occurred just a week earlier on 21 November 2025. Natural Gas surged to 4.85, up sharply from last week’s 4.58, posting a 5.90% weekly rise. The monthly jump from 3.82 reflects a strong 26.96% increase, while the quarterly rise from 2.94 stands at a remarkable 64.97%. Year-on-year, natural gas has climbed 51.56% from 3.20. The yearly low was 2.75 on 24 August 2025, and the current closing of 4.85 matches the yearly high recorded on 28 November 2025.
