September 1, 2023: Price Adjustments in Polymer Grades by Leading Indian Polymer producing Companies

On September 1, 2023, leading Indian polymer-producing companies announced changes in the prices of various polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) grades. Here's a summary of the price adjustments: RIL Prices: HDPE prices will remain unchanged, except for HD pipe grade, which will decrease by Rs. 2500 per metric ton. LLDPE prices will remain unchanged. LDPE prices will increase by Rs. 1500 per metric ton across all sectors, except for LD EC and LD IM, which will increase by Rs. 1000 per metric ton. RIL is raising PP prices by Rs. 1500 per metric ton. All PET grade prices are reduced by Rs. 3000 per metric ton. IOC Prices: For Polypropylene (PP), there is an increase of Rs. 1400 per metric ton. Regarding Polyethylene (PE): For all Pipe Grades, there is a decrease of Rs. 2400 per metric ton. For all other PE Grades, the prices remain unchanged, with a roll-over. HPL Prices: HPL has increased the prices of most PP grades by Rs. 1500 per metric ton HDPE Pipe grade prices are reduced by Rs. 2500 per metric ton, while other HDPE grade prices remain unchanged. All LLDPE grade prices are unchanged. OPaL Prices: OPaL has raised the prices of PP grades by Rs. 1500 per metric ton. PP Deemed export prices have increased by Rs. 1000 per metric ton HDPE Pipe grade prices are reduced by Rs. 2500 per metric ton, while other HDPE grade prices remain unchanged. All LLDPE grade prices are unchanged. MRPL Prices: MRPL is raising PP grade prices by Rs. 1.40 per kilogram, effective September 1, 2023.
