Price revisions by an Indian polymer producer effective from April 1, 2023.

Effective April 1, 2023, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has decreased the prices of various polymer grades. The price of PVC grade has been lowered by Rs.4/kg, while the prices of HDPE, LLDPE, and LDPE grades have been reduced by Rs.2/kg basic. Additionally, the price of PP has been decreased by Rs.2.50/kg basic. As per the latest announcement, price protection schemes for all these grades have been withdrawn. RIL has also revised its deemed export prices in line with the DE policy. HMEL has reduced the basic price of PP by Rs.2.50/kg and withdrawn price protection. IOCL has also revised their PP and PE prices, with a decrease of Rs.2.50/kg basic in PP prices. The prices for HMHDPE Film grade have remained unchanged, while all other HDPE grades have been decreased by Rs.2/kg basic. LLDPE grade prices have also been reduced by Rs.2/kg basic, and price protection has been withdrawn. GAIL has announced their PE prices for the same period, with a decrease of Rs.3/kg basic for HMHDPE Film grade, and Rs.2/kg basic for all other HDPE grades and LLDPE grade, and price protection has been withdrawn. Additionally, Chemplast has decreased the basic price of PVC suspension grade by Rs.4/kg, wef April 1, 2023.
