In the polymer industry, domestic producers have announced significant price updates for November 2023. Here is a summary of the key price changes made by leading domestic polymer producers: RIL Polyethylene (PE): Effective from November 2, 2023, RIL has made significant adjustments to PE prices. HDPE Injection Moulding and Raffia grade prices have been increased by Re. 1/kg at the basic level, while HDPE Blow and Film grade prices have been decreased by Rs. 2/kg at the basic level. Prices for HD/HM Pipe grades remain unchanged, while all LLDPE grade prices have increased by Re. 1/kg at the basic level. IOC PP and PE: IOC has announced price revisions for PP and PE, also effective from November 2, 2023. PP grade prices have decreased by Rs. 3/kg at the basic level, and price protection in PP has been withdrawn. For PE, HDPE Injection Moulding and Yarn grade prices have increased by Rs. 1/kg at the basic level, while HDPE Blow and HM Film grade prices have decreased by Rs. 2/kg at the basic level. Prices for all Pipe grades have been rolled over, and all LLDPE grade prices have increased by Re. 1/kg at the basic level. HPL PP and PE: HPL has made price adjustments for PP and PE, effective from November 2, 2023. PP grade prices have remained unchanged. For PE, HDPE Injection Moulding and Raffia grade prices have been increased by Re. 1/kg at the basic level, while HDPE Blow and Film grade prices have decreased by Rs. 2/kg at the basic level. Prices for all Pipe grades have been rolled over, and all LLDPE grade prices have increased by Re. 1/kg at the basic level. GAIL Polyethylene (PE): GAIL has announced PE price revisions, effective from November 2, 2023. HDPE Injection Moulding and Raffia grade prices have increased by Re. 1/kg at the basic level, while HDPE Film and Blow Moulding grade prices have decreased by Rs. 2/kg at the basic level. Prices for HDPE Pipe grade have remained unchanged, and all LLDPE grade prices have increased by Re. 1/kg at the basic level. IOC IOC has introduced incentive schemes for PP Co-Polymer and PP F&F customers based on the upliftment of monthly PP APP. Customers achieving specific upliftment levels will receive incentive amounts, with the scheme applicable at various supply points. RIL PET: RIL has decided to keep PET prices steady, maintaining them at their existing rates starting from November 1, 2023. PE: For HDPE and LLDPE, RIL has chosen to maintain the current prices, effectively rolling them over. LDPE: RIL has taken a diverse approach to LDPE. Prices fo LD-EC have been reduced by ₹5000/MT, while LD Heavy Duty and IM prices have witnessed a decrease of ₹4000/MT. All other LDPE prices have been rolled over. PP RIL has revised its domestic PP prices downwards by Rs 3000 per MT, effective from November 1, 2023. Additionally, the company has withdrawn price protection for PP. PVC: RIL has implemented an increase in PVC prices, with a rise of Rs 1000/MT, effective from November 1. IOC PP: IOC has chosen to roll over their PP prices, maintaining stability in this segment. Notably, the price protection introduced on October 19, 2023, has been extended until November 2, 2023, at 6 A.M. However, it's important to mention that this protection excludes deemed exports, exports, and contractual sales. PE: For most PE grades, IOC has decided to maintain the current prices. However, all Pipe Grades have witnessed a significant decrease of Rs 4000/MT. Supreme Petrochem: GPPS: All GPPS prices have been maintained at their existing rates, reflecting a commitment to price stability. HIPS: Similarly, all HIPS prices have been rolled over. Notably, the HIPS SH03 grade price is Rs. 117/Kg basic (Ex. Nagothane), and the GPPS 203EL grade price is Rs. 110/Kg basic (Ex. Nagothane). MRPL PP: MRPL has made a significant move by decreasing their PP prices by Rs 3000 per MT, effective from November 1, 2023. Additionally, the company has withdrawn price protection.
