Indian Polymer Market weekly update
The polymer market witnessed mixed movements this week, with key grades showing both positive and negative trends. PP Raffia closed at ₹89.50, down by 0.56% weekly and 3.24% monthly, marking a 5.79% decline year-on-year. The price remains above the yearly low of ₹88.00 but well below the high of ₹98.00. LLDPE settled at ₹90.50, slightly lower by 0.55% weekly and 3.72% monthly. However, it maintained a 3.43% yearly rise, trading 4.62% above its low of ₹86.5, though still 6.70% below its yearly peak of ₹97. HDPE BM recorded a sharp weekly fall of 3.24%, closing at ₹89.50. Despite this, it showed resilience on a quarterly basis with a 3.47% gain. On a yearly scale, it slipped by 1.10%, but prices are still 6.55% higher than the yearly low of ₹84.00. LDPE prices remained unchanged at ₹111.00 for the week, though it fell 1.33% monthly. Yearly performance stayed strong with a 7.25% rise, maintaining a robust 8.82% gain compared to the yearly low of ₹102.00. Overall, PP Raffia and HDPE BM showed notable weakness, while LLDPE and LDPE reflected relative stability with yearly gains.
