Crude oil closed at 71.76, registering a sharp 5.92% weekly gain, along with 10.54% monthly and 13.22% quarterly increases, though still -5.64% lower year-on-year compared to 20 February 2025. Prices remain 21.79% above the yearly low of 58.92 recorded on 16 December 2025, and -8.99% below the yearly high of 78.85 seen on 19 June 2025. In currency markets, USD INR settled at 90.73, slipping -0.20% weekly, but showing a 0.42% monthly rise. The pair remains -2.28% lower quarterly and -4.82% lower year-on-year. It is trading -7.64% below its yearly high of 84.29 recorded on 5 May 2025, while standing 1.42% above the yearly low of 92.04 touched on 28 January 2026. Meanwhile, Natural Gas closed at 3.04, declining -6.17% weekly and -3.49% monthly, with a steep -31.99% quarterly drop and -25.49% yearly decline. However, prices are 10.55% above the yearly low of 2.75 recorded on 24 August 2025, though still -42.42% below the yearly high of 5.28 seen on 5 December 2025.
