Crude oil prices fell to close at 62.56 on November 21, 2025, marking a weekly drop of -2.84% from 64.39 recorded on November 14. On a monthly basis, crude prices rose 2.76% from 60.88, but the quarterly change showed a sharp decline of -7.55% compared to 67.67 in August. Year on year, crude prices fell -15.20% from 73.77 a year earlier. The monthly and quarterly declines stood at -2.01% and -2.69%, respectively. On a yearly comparison, the rupee slipped -6.10% from 84.49 in November 2024. The rupee’s yearly high was 84.26 on November 25, 2024, while the latest closing marks its new yearly low at 89.64. Natural gas prices, on the other hand, showed strong momentum, ending at 4.58 on November 21, up slightly by 0.44% for the week. The monthly gain stood at 13.65%, while the quarterly surge was a remarkable 63.57%. Year on year, natural gas prices have jumped 37.54% from 3.33 a year ago. The yearly low was 2.75 on August 24, while the high was 4.64 on November 13, a minor drop of -1.29% from that peak.
