Energy and currency markets as of 10 April 2026 reflected a sharp correction in crude oil, stability in USD INR, and continued weakness in natural gas. Crude oil closed at 96.65, declining -10.38% weekly from 107.85, though still up 10.08% monthly and 52.59% quarterly. On a yearly basis, it is 52.61% higher than 63.33 recorded on 10 April 2025, trading 64.04% above its yearly low of 58.92 (16 December 2025), but -15.51% below its high of 114.39 seen on 19 March 2026. USD INR settled at 92.59, showing marginal movement with a 0.08% weekly rise, while declining -0.67% monthly and -2.60% quarterly. The pair is -7.43% lower year-on-year, trading -9.85% below its yearly high of 84.29 (5 May 2025), and 2.31% above its yearly low of 94.78 recorded on 27 March 2026. Natural Gas dropped further to 2.67, down -4.64% weekly, -12.46% monthly, and -15.51% quarterly, with a -23.71% yearly decline. Prices are currently at their yearly low of 2.67 recorded on 10 April 2026, and remain sharply -49.43% below the yearly high of 5.28 seen on 5 December 2025.
