Polymer Market Sees Mixed Movements as PP and HDPE Decline, PVC Strengthens Slightly.PP Raffia prices dropped to ₹83.50/kg, down 1.18% weekly and 3.47% monthly. The grade has fallen 10.22% both quarterly and yearly, touching its yearly low of ₹83.50 on Oct 10, 2025, while its yearly high of ₹98.00 was recorded on Apr 18, 2025. LLDPE edged up 0.58% weekly, closing at ₹86.50/kg. Despite this short-term gain, it was down 3.89% monthly and 7.98% quarterly, with a 1.14% yearly decline. The grade touched a yearly low of ₹86 on Dec 26, 2024, and a high of ₹97.00 on Oct 7, 2025. HDPE BM weakened 1.15% weekly to ₹86.00/kg, extending its 4.44% monthly and 5.49% quarterly losses. Compared to last year, it slipped 4.44%, but remains 2.38% above its yearly low of ₹84.00 (Dec 31, 2024). Its yearly high stood at ₹93.00 on Aug 7, 2025. LDPE prices softened 0.46% to ₹108.50/kg, down 1.81% monthly and 3.13% quarterly, though showing a 3.33% yearly rise. The grade remains 6.37% above its yearly low of ₹102.00 (Dec 29, 2024) but 6.06% below the yearly high of ₹115.50 (Apr 2, 2025). PVC stood out with a 1.49% weekly gain, closing at ₹68.00/kg, even as it declined 2.86% monthly. The grade recorded a 3.03% quarterly rise but remained 8.11% lower year-on-year.
