Polymer Market Update: Mixed Trends Across Key Grades

The polymer market witnessed mixed movements this week with varied trends across major grades. PP Raffa prices declined to 86.50, down 1.14% weekly and 3.35% monthly, reflecting continued bearish sentiment. Compared to last year, it has dropped 8.47%, nearing its yearly low. LLDPE held relatively steady at 90.00, slipping 0.55% weekly and monthly, but showing resilience with a 1.69% yearly gain. Its yearly low stands at 86.50, suggesting limited downside. HDPE BM remained flat at 90.00, showing stability. Weekly movement was negligible, but quarterly performance improved with a 4.65% rise, although yearly change is slightly negative at -0.55%. LDPE traded at 110.50, unchanged weekly but sustaining strength with a 5.74% yearly rise. Compared to last year, it is up 8.33%, indicating consistent demand. PVC dropped sharply to 70.00, losing 4.76% weekly but gaining 4.48% monthly. Despite a 9.38% yearly gain, it remains volatile with steep declines from its yearly high.
