Energy and currency markets as of 3 April 2026 showed mixed trends, with crude sustaining elevated levels, currency rebounding, and natural gas remaining under pressure. Crude oil closed at 107.85, gaining 2.40% weekly, with a sharp 32.49% monthly and 77.53% quarterly rise. Year-on-year, prices are up 53.76%, trading 83.04% above the yearly low of 58.92 (16 December 2025), though still -5.72% below the yearly high of 114.39 recorded on 19 March 2026. USD INR settled at 92.66, rising 2.24% weekly, but showing a slight -0.66% monthly decline. The pair is down -2.94% quarterly and -8.70% yearly, trading -9.93% below its yearly high of 84.29 (5 May 2025), while standing 2.24% above its yearly low of 94.78 recorded on 27 March 2026. Natural Gas fell to 2.85, declining -7.77% weekly and -6.56% monthly, with deeper losses of -21.05% quarterly and -31.16% yearly. However, it remains 3.64% above its yearly low of 2.75 (24 August 2025), though still -46.02% below the yearly high of 5.28 recorded on 5 December 2025.
