As of January 11, 2024, Indian polymer producers have announced revisions in their Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) prices. RIL, a major player in the polymer sector, has increased its PP prices by Rs. 2/Kg basic, effective January 11, 2024. In addition, the PE prices have witnessed varying adjustments across different grades. LLDPE prices have been raised by ₹1.5/Kg basic, while LD GP/HD/LP prices increased by ₹3.0/Kg basic. AL/WC and IM/EC grades have seen increments of ₹2.5/Kg and ₹2.0/Kg basic, respectively. However, HDPE prices have remained unchanged. OPaL has also revised its PP and PE prices, with a Rs. 2/Kg basic increase in PP grade prices and a Rs. 1.50/Kg basic hike in LLDPE grade prices. However, HDPE grade prices have remained unchanged in OPaL's latest announcement. HPL has joined the list of companies announcing price revisions, with a Rs. 2/Kg basic increase in PP grade prices. Similarly, LLDPE grade prices have been generally raised by Rs. 1.50/Kg basic. However, HDPE grade prices have generally been rolled over, indicating stability in this segment. GAIL has declared PE price adjustments, with LLDPE grade prices increased by Rs. 1.50/Kg basic. Conversely, HDPE grade prices have remained unchanged in GAIL's latest update. HMEL has raised PP grade prices by Rs. 2/Kg basic and increased all LLDPE grade prices by Rs. 1.50/Kg basic. Notably, HDPE grade prices have remained constant in HMEL's recent revision. IOCL has also participated in the industry-wide price adjustments, increasing PP grade prices by Rs. 2/Kg basic and LLDPE grade prices by Rs. 1.50/Kg basic. However, HDPE grade prices have not witnessed any changes in IOCL's recent announcement. MRPL has increased its PP prices by Rs. 2/Kg basic, aligning with the industry trend. As of January 11, 2024, MRPL has made no changes to its LLDPE and HDPE grade prices.
