Price revisions by domestic polymer producers in India w.e.f. Aug 01, 2023
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has announced revisions in the prices of their Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) products, effective from August 1, 2023. The basic PP prices have been raised by Rs. 2/kg. Additionally, the Deemed Export prices have been adjusted as per the company's policy. For PE products, RIL has made the following changes: HDPE grade prices have increased by Re. 1/kg on a basic level. HDPE pipe and LBM grade prices remain unchanged. LDPE EC grade prices have been hiked by Rs. 1.56/kg on a basic level. All other LDPE grade prices have been raised by Re. 1/kg on a basic level. LLDPE grade prices have been increased by Re. 1/kg on a basic level. LLDPE EC grade prices have been raised by Rs. 1.50/kg on a basic level. RIL has also raised PVC prices by Rs. 1.50/kg on a basic level, effective from August 1, 2023. In line with RIL's announcement, ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) has also revised their PP and PE grade prices, effective from August 1, 2023. PP grade prices have increased by Rs. 2/kg on a basic level. HDPE grade prices have risen by Re. 1/kg on a basic level, while HDPE pipe grade prices remain unchanged. LLDPE grade prices have gone up by Re. 1/kg on a basic level, and LLDPE EC grade prices have been increased by Rs. 1.50/kg on a basic level. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has joined the price adjustments as well, announcing changes in their PP and PE grade prices, effective from August 1, 2023. PP grade prices have increased by Rs. 1.95/kg on a basic level, and PE grade prices have risen by Re. 0.95/kg on a basic level. HDPE pipe grade prices have been left unchanged. Additionally, LLDPE grade prices for extrusion coating have gone up by Rs. 1.45/kg on a basic level. Haldia Petrochemicals Limited (HPL) has also announced revisions in their PP and PE grade prices, effective from August 1, 2023. PP grade prices have increased by Rs. 2/kg on a basic level. HDPE grade prices, in general, have gone up by Re. 1/kg on a basic level, while HDPE pipe grade prices have generally remained unchanged. LLDPE grade prices, in general, have gained by Re. 1/kg on a basic level, and LLDPE EC grade prices, in general, have increased by Rs. 1.50/kg on a basic level. Furthermore, Supreme Petrochem has increased the prices of their PS grade products by Rs. 2/kg, effective from August 1, 2023. The GPPS 203EL grade is now priced at Rs. 105/kg on a basic level, and the HIPS SH03 grade is priced at Rs. 113/kg on a basic level, Ex-Nagothane.
