Polyethylene Incentive Schemes and Discounts for September 2023

For September 2023, RIL has introduced an incentive scheme: X for HDPE and Y for LLDPE. There is no incentive scheme for LDPE during this month. The details of discount announcements will be disclosed at the end of the month. Currently, there are no specific criteria based on the APPQ. IOCL has announced that for HDPE grades falling within the range of 75-100% of the APP Quantity, discount slab X1 is applicable, and for the 100%-125% slab, X2 is applicable. Similarly, for LLDPE grades falling within the range of 75-100% of the APP Quantity, discount slab Y1 is applicable, and for the 100%-125% slab, Y2 is applicable. HPL has introduced the Import Parity Adjustment Scheme (ABC scheme) for all PE grades. HMEL has unveiled discount schemes for HDPE and LLDPE grades. For slow-moving HDPE grades with low MFI in both prime and non-prime categories, as well as OG (Off-Grade) grades, discounts of Rs. 3 per kilogram apply. In the case of LLDPE, for 1 and 2 MFI non-slip grades in both prime and non-prime categories, discounts of Rs. 2 per kilogram are applicable. Additionally, for LLDPE 20 MFI grades in prime, non-prime, and OG categories, discounts of Rs. 5 per kilogram have been announced.
