Price revisions by domestic polymer producers in India w.e.f. June 15, 2023
RIL, IOCL, HPL, MRPL, and HMEL have reduced the prices of PP (Polypropylene) by Rs. 2/kg on a basic level, effective from June 15, 2023. The price protection, which was previously in place, has been withdrawn. On the other hand, RIL, GAIL, IOCL, HPL, and OPaL have kept the prices of PE (Polyethylene) unchanged from June 15, 2023. RIL has also kept the prices of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) unchanged, effective from June 15, 2023. For detailed information, please refer to the price circular. In addition, RIL has announced an APPQ linked incentive scheme for PP in June 2023. The scheme is applicable to both prime and non-prime domestic sales, and it consists of three slabs linked to APPQ: a) 6.5% to 8.33...X b) 8.33% to 11%...Y c) 11% to 18%...Z The X slab applies only to utility and waste. Furthermore, MRPL has announced a CQI linked incentive scheme for PP in June 2023.
