Incentive Schemes Unveiled by Domestic Producers to Boost Sales

Date: 06-03-2023 Domestic producers have rolled over prices for PP, LLDPE, HDPE, and PVC. GAIL is offering discounts for HDPE and LLDPE, while OPAL has waived the upper cap of their Annual Procurement Plan. IOCL has announced incentive schemes for PP and PE grades. RIL has introduced APPQ slab rates for HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, and PVC. MRPL is offering an early bird incentive scheme for PP. Scheme details are subject to change and actual values will be announced later. RIL has announced the following APPQ slab rates for HDPE, LLDPE, and LDPE: APPQ >=7 and <9: X, APPQ >=9 and <11: Y, APPQ >=11: Z for PVC: APPQ >=7 and <8: 2500/MT, APPQ >=8 and <10: 3000/MT, APPQ >=10: 4000/MT. For non-APP customers, the incentive will be 1500/MT IOCL has announced a special incentive scheme on prime/non-prime PE grades for PE and Flexi APP for the month of March 2023. The scheme is as follows: Monthly APP completion: Incentive (Rs. /MT) >=75% and <100%: HDPE: X1, LLDPE: Y1 >=100%: HDPE: X2, LLDPE: Y2 IOCL has also announced the VYAPT incentive scheme for PP and Flexi APP customers for the month of March 2023. The incentive is applicable to the actual lifting of Prime/Non-Prime PP grades during the month of March 2023, as per the table below: Monthly APP completion: Incentive (Rs. /MT) =>=80% & <100% A, >=100%: B The actual value (Rs. /MT) of the VYAPT incentive (A & B) will be announced at the end of the month. Please note that the scheme details are subject to change and the actual values of X1, Y1, X2, and Y2 will be announced later. GAIL has announced an additional discount scheme linked to MOU (memorandum of understanding) for HDPE and LLDPE, with a discount rate of XYZ for the month of March 2023. OPAL has announced a waiver on the upper cap of the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) for the month of March 2023. MRPL has announced an early bird incentive scheme of Rs. 2000 per MT for PP for the lifting period from 1st March 2023 till 15th March 2023
